I’ve been involved in athletics most of my life, starting with hockey and football as a kid. In high school I began training wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.
I’ve been immersed in the world of grappling for over 20 years and been teaching for over a decade and am very fortunate to train alongside some of my best friends. I continue to coach BJJ on a weekly basis, helping grapplers of all levels progress toward a physically and mentally empowered version of themselves.
Over the course of my training and day to day life, I developed several physical imbalances and that resulted in continuous pain and knee injuries. After coming across Functional Patterns online, I began implementing the training and haven’t looked back since.
I remain immersed in the world of Jiu-jitsu and am on a path of self-discovery through movement and biomechanics.

As a busy mom with two boys, I've always lived an active lifestyle through dancing and various physical activities. I have immersed myself in the Functional Patterns training method to enhance movement, alleviate pain, and improve strength and agility while reducing stress. Following a challenging time after my fourth surgery and dealing with chronic health conditions and pain, I found myself struggling to engage in activities I loved without discomfort. Determined to find a new approach, I embraced a new approach to training to maintain lifelong health and functionality. Over time, I experienced significant improvements in pain levels and mobility, leading to a better quality of life.
As someone passionate about helping women, I am dedicated to working with people of all ages in a integrative way. This type of training not only benefits physical well-being but also our mental well-being. By listening to our bodies and working in harmony with them, we can achieve improved movement and overall well-being. I am excited to share this transformative method and help others experience the positive impact it can have on their live
